Hamed Kazimi, P.E. has worked with the FDOT District 7 (D7) Structures Design Office since July 2016. He has worked on several in-house design projects from miscellaneous structures to complex bridge designs. Recently, Hamed and the D7 Structures Team completed the 4th Street Bridges over Big Island Gap. He was the lead designer on the substructure, which included FRP materials. Along with the in-house design projects, Hamed assists the D7 Structures Design Office with scope development, negotiations, plan reviews, and provides technical expertise to other disciplines. Hamed graduated from USF with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Structural Engineering.
