Florida’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan reports 8 lives are lost and 49 lives are seriously injured everyday as a result of traffic related crashes. This presentation will showcase two FDOT innovations to reduce fatal and serious injuries in work zones and at intersections in line with the Safe System Approach to implementing the Florida Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
