The I-95 at Glades Road interchange was converted from a partial cloverleaf to a DDI to improve traffic operations and increase safety. This presentation will focus on the best practices and principles applied in the design, construction and implementation of the DDI. Project specific examples will be discussed focusing on how the community was at the center of key decisions embodying FDOT’s Compass throughout the design, construction, and operations.
