Wiley Cunagin

Wiley Cunagin has worked with or for the Florida DOT for more than 40 years. He began by assisting in creating the Department’s weigh-in-motion program. He then earned his doctorate at Texas A&M University and stayed at the Texas Transportation Institute to lead a research program addressing traffic data inputs to pavement design. In 2004 he returned to Tallahassee to work with the Pavement Management Section as an in-house consultant. He was a key member of the team that developed Florida’s Analysis System for Targets (FAST). He is a registered Professional Engineer and is currently the Pavement Management Engineer for Florida.


Pavement Management
