Vern Danforth P.E. leads Statewide FDOT CADD and BIM efforts for FDOT Office of Design advancing innovations in 3D modeling and digital delivery. His experience spans over 30 years working for State and Local Agencies, AEC firms, and Software Vendors during his professional engineering career. He is a Board Member of the International Highway Engineering Exchange Program (IHEEP) and has served on the AASHTO’s Joint Technical Committee on Electronic Engineering Standards (JTCEES) and FHWA’s BIM for Infrastructure Committee. He is also an adjunct professor at FAMU/FSU College of Civil Engineering.
