Ron Meyer has over 25 years of experience with intelligent transportation systems including technology evaluation, system design, deployment, integration, and operation of ITS and traffic control system technologies, devices, and systems. Ron has worked on development and deployment of transportation technology projects in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Ron serves the Florida Department of Transportation in a variety of technical capacities on projects and as in-house consultant staff. His work at the FDOT Traffic Engineering Research Lab in Tallahassee on statewide specification development for traffic control devices includes the development of requirements for Truck Parking Detection Systems and equipment.
