Peter Hsu, PE, FDOT District 7 District Safety Administrator, received his master degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Florida. He has been with FDOT for 31 years with 40-year experience in Traffic Engineering, Operations, Safety & Transportation Planning fields. Also, he is the recipient of numerous prestigious National Roadway Safety awards and statewide Davis Productivity awards in the traffic and safety engineering areas. He is also co-author for many publications shown in the international and national journals in the traffic safety field. Peter has been a national leader in the use of Road Safety Assessments (RSAs) and is recognized as an aggressive leader in the field of traffic safety.
