Omar Faruk is an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and Traffic Engineer, specializing in Connected Vehicle technologies. Omar is a Project Engineer with HNTB Corporation and supporting Christine Shafik and FDOT as the GEC consultant staff. With eight (8) years of experience, Omar has been actively involved with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), contributing to the deployment of technology solutions aimed at improving safety and enhancing mobility. His expertise in Connected Vehicle systems spans program planning, project development, design, and the strategic implementation of components to enable Connected Vehicle functionality.
