Naziru Isaac is currently working for Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as a District 5 Roadway Design Engineer (DRDE). Naziru is a registered professional engineer with 23 years of experience in transportation industry specifically roadway design, he holds a bachelor’s degree in transportation engineering from University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and a master’s degree in transportation engineering from Florida State University. He joined the Department District 6 (Miami) in 2008 and then moved to District 5 in 2014. He has served as a roadway design engineer, senior project manager, in-house roadway design supervisor and District Roadway Design Engineer. Prior to joining the Department Naziru worked with various private roadway design Consultants. Over the years Naziru has been involved in so many projects as part of the design team for projects such as John Young Parkway/Osceola Parkway Interchange in Orlando or lead design engineer on I-75/Palmetto Expressway Interchange Improvements in Miami. Naziru has also been Engineer of Record for various roadway projects and a project manager on numerous design projects including I-4 projects in Orlando area.
