Mario Dipola is a seasoned traffic engineer with Gresham Smith, where he leads as the State Leader for the North Florida Transportation market. With 17 years of experience spanning both public and private sectors, Mario has developed a reputation for advancing roadway safety and team development. During his decade with FDOT Districts 1 and 2, he played a key role in achieving significant reductions in fatal and serious injury crashes. Over the past seven years in the private sector, he has continued fostering a strong culture of safety while successfully building and mentoring high-performing transportation teams. Mario holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the University of Florida. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), and a Level 2 Road Safety Professional, among numerous other credentials. Deeply committed to his community, he actively serves on various local boards. Mario resides in Ponte Vedra Beach with his wife and their four children.
