Jennifer Fortunas (CO)

Jennifer is a professional engineer and graduate of FSU with 28 years of planning and engineering experience. She has been a FDOT employee at Central Office since April of 2006, serving in the Systems Implementation Office, as State Managed Lanes Engineer in the traffic engineering and operations office, Manager of the Systems Forecasting and Trends Office (SFTO), and as Director of the Office of Policy Planning (OPP). Her current position is the Chief Data Officer for the Office of Operational Technology where she leads the development of strategies to integrate transportation data into our ecosystem of tools and applications. Prior to joining FDOT Jennifer worked for ten years in private consulting. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and son.
