David Shearer

David Shearer is a graduate of the University of Florida, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida and currently serves as the Highway Design Leader for Whitman, Requardt & Associates. With 29 years of experience, David has led the design of a wide range of transportation projects across the state. In addition to his design and management expertise, he has served as the owner’s representative on numerous complex FDOT Design-Build projects, including the Howard Frankland Bridge Replacement, the I-75 Interchange at Big Bend Road, and the Downtown Tampa Interchange.
