Christine Shafik is the State Connected Mobility and Technologies Engineer. In this role, Christine oversees the development and implementation of the processes the Department uses to advance the statewide deployment of connected mobility projects and their supporting technologies. Christine leads, manages, and supervises the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and sustainability of the Connected Arterial Vehicle (CAV) technologies. Besides CAV program, Christine also leads the Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O) Software program, the Statewide Arterial Management, and the Managed Lanes programs.
