Andrew Pinkham is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who began working for the State Materials Office in 2019 and he was immediately involved in concrete and reinforcement testing. This work placed him into various research projects and led to extensive work with FRP materials, precast concrete, and UHPC. Andrew is currently certified in PCI as a Level 3 Quality Control Professional, and he is the only NPCA certified Master Precaster within the Florida Department of Transportation. His current assignment at the State Materials office is the Concrete Field Operations Manager, providing oversite to the 84 approved precast concrete producers, 128 approved cementitious materials facilities, and he is the Department's liaison to their many industry partners. He is also tasked with providing technical guidance for the Department's six District Structural Materials Units, as well as managing several different publications and specifications specializing in concrete materials.
