This presentation will provide an overview of innovations in the design, construction, and preservation of foundation structures. The presenters will discuss changes to Section 455 of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and to the Basis of Estimates, showcase the use of Measuring While Drilling for geotechnical site investigation and QA/QC of cast-in-place foundations, and recent improvements in corrosion protection systems for reinforcement in concrete structures.
