The session will offer a comprehensive overview of the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) program. Attendees will acquire insights into the program's achievements and milestones, beginning with the launch of the Connected Vehicle program and extending through the CV plan, which introduces the new strategic plan, while also learning about the latest advancements in the CAV program. Additionally, this session will touch on the best practices and lessons learned, which have been gathered from CV experts across all districts and compiled by the Central office, to provide participants, Districts, Local Agencies, and their consultants with the essential knowledge for successful CAV project implementation.
