Participants will walk away with a better overall understanding of the obligations under Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for transportation projects in Florida. With a focus on the practical application of accessibility in the field, emphasis is placed on how substantive integration of safety and accessibility considerations benefit all users, not only those with disabilities – resulting in a truly integrated pedestrian experience as a mode of travel.
